Installation & Setup
Installing the Advanced Entries Manager is a straightforward process.
- Download: Download the plugin
.zipfile from your purchase receipt or from our website. - Upload: In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Plugins > Add New and click the Upload Plugin button. Select the downloaded
.zipfile and click Install Now. - Activate: Once the plugin is installed, click Activate Plugin.
After activation, you will find the new WPForms Entries menu item in your WordPress admin sidebar.
The Main Dashboard & Overview
Upon clicking the WPForms Entries menu item, you will be taken to the main dashboard. This page provides an overview of all your forms that have entries.
- Form Overview List: You will see a list of your WPForms, each with a title (e.g., “Simple Contact Form”) and a count of the total number of entries for that form. This gives you a quick, at-a-glance view of your data.
- Performance: The dashboard is built to handle millions of entries without slowing down your site. You can click on any form to view its entries list.
WPForms Entries List
This is the main screen for managing your submissions for a specific form.
- Modern UI: The interface is clean, fast, and responsive, with a clear list of entries. Each row displays key metadata like the submitter’s name, email, and the submission date.
- Pagination: Our pagination system is built for scalability. You can navigate through millions of entries seamlessly without a performance drop.
- Actions: Each entry has a set of action icons for quick management, including marking as read/unread, adding to favorites, and viewing details.
Searching & Filtering Entries
Finding the right entry is fast and easy with our built-in tools.
- Keyword Search: Use the search bar at the top of the entries list to find entries by any keyword, such as a name, email address, or a specific phrase within a submission. The search is instant and works across millions of entries.
- Filters: You can also filter entries by date range, read/unread status, or favorites status.
Working with Individual Entries
Clicking on an entry’s details icon will open a modal popup, giving you a full view of the submission without leaving the current page.
- Entry Details Modal: This modal displays all the submitted fields for that entry in a clean, readable format.
- Notes / Admin Comments: Within the entry details, you can add private, internal notes for yourself or your team. This is a powerful feature for collaboration and tracking the status of specific submissions. Simply type your note and click “Save Note.”
- Copy Entry: You can easily copy the entry details to your clipboard.
Bulk Actions
Save time by performing actions on multiple entries at once.
- Select Entries: Use the checkboxes on the left side of the entries list to select multiple entries.
- Select Action: In the dropdown menu at the top, select an action from the list (e.g., “Mark as Read,” “Mark as Unread,” “Mark as Favorite,” “Delete Entries”).
- Apply: Click the “Apply” button to execute the selected action on all the chosen entries.
Google Sheets Sync
Our one-click Google Sheets integration makes it easy to sync your entries for backups and analysis.
- Connect Google Account: Go to WPForms Entries > Settings and navigate to the Google Sync tab. Click the “Connect with Google” button. This will securely authorize your Google Account without requiring any API keys or client secrets.
- Enable Sync: Once connected, you can enable the sync for individual forms. Entries will then be automatically pushed to a designated Google Sheet.
- Manage Sync: You can manage and disconnect your account at any time from the settings page.
Managing Your Google Account Connection
Forms Entries Manager gives you full control over your Google connection at any time.
Disconnect from inside WordPress
- In your WordPress admin, go to Forms Entries Manager → Settings → Google Sync.
- Click Revoke Connection.
- This will immediately delete all stored Google OAuth tokens from our database. No further access to your Google account is possible until you reconnect.
Revoke access from your Google Account
- You can also remove access directly from your Google Account:
- Visit Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access.
- Select Forms Entries Manager and click Remove access.
- Once revoked, our plugin will no longer be able to create or update spreadsheets on your behalf.
Data retention and deletion
- We only store OAuth tokens necessary to sync entries with Google Sheets.
- Tokens are deleted instantly when you disconnect inside WordPress or when Google access is revoked.
- Form entries remain in your WordPress database unless you manually delete them.
- If you would like us to permanently delete any related data from our servers, please contact us at hmalaminmb4@gmai.com.
Advanced Export Options
Our powerful export tool provides full control over your data.
- CSV Export: Go to WPForms Entries > Settings and navigate to the Advanced Export tab.
- Field Exclusion: Choose which fields to include in your CSV export. This is useful for cleaning up your data and exporting only the information you need.
- Async Export: For very large datasets, our plugin can run the export process in the background, preventing timeouts and allowing you to continue working on your site.
Migrating from Old WPForms DB Plugins
If you are using an older version of a WPForms DB plugin, our migration tool makes it easy to switch.
- Migration Tool: Go to WPForms Entries > Migration.
- Process: The tool will automatically detect your old entries. You can choose a batch size to prevent timeouts and click “Start Migration.” Your old data will be seamlessly moved to our high-performance custom database.
PDF Print View
Create professional, print-friendly PDFs of individual entries.
- Generate PDF: From the entries list, find the entry you want to print and click the PDF icon. A clean, formatted PDF will be generated, which you can save or print for your records.
